Adding logo to Destyle header

Hello

I'm having a problem adding a logo to the Destyle theme for my website:

alternate-shadows.com

I've right-clicked on Inspect Elements and tried editing code there but it doesn't seem to save the changes. Someone suggested I would need to go into the root folder but I don't know what this is or where as I'm nowhere near an expert on this.

If possible can someone please give me a step by step dummies guide how to get rid of the title 'Alternate Shadows' on the header and replace it with the logo?

Thanks!

What you can do to add a logo instead of the Site Name is go into the Dashboard into Stacks and Add Stack (you can name it anything you want). Edit that Stack and add an image block, with your logo. Then click on that block and go to Customize Template there should be a box there with a label of Block Name, enter "My_Site_Name" as the Block Name (no quotes) and save.

You may need to clear the cache, but this image should now show in your logo area instead of the Site Name.

Brilliant! That worked! Thank you so much :)

Also, do you happen to know how to get rid of the bars at the top of the page that say "follow me" and "subscribe to rss"?

You can not do that through the CMS, you would have to access the server via FTP and remove the links from the /packages/theme_destyle/themes/destyle/elements/header.php
