I am making my website into a C5 theme and I am ready to add a blog page. I am able to get it to work I think but only in full page mode. So I added blog_entry.php and made it have a sidebar to the root of my theme. I assigned that page type to my blog page but I only get a regular page with a sidebar. However, if I delete that blog_entry.php page and just assign the blog page to the blog_entry page type the blog works but only in full page mode. So there is obviously a way to add a blog template to my site but when I try to add that template to the root of my theme it just appears as a regular page. What am I doing wrong here?

edit: Ok I think I've got it figured out I hope. I was trying to use blog_entry as my top level blog page when it should have been the blog index page.
