Boldly Theme Menu

Hey guys new to Concrete5 here. I just came up on a little problem using the Boldy theme. Right now i have a Menu item that has two sub pages in it. But the actual menu bar is showing only one item. If anyone could lend a hand that would be great.

I apologise if this isn't the place to post it!

Cheers
HNz

My best guess is you have the 'wrong' settings for autonav.

Put your page in Edit mode and click on the autonav block. Set 'Subpages to Display' to all.

For a more in depth understanding of the autonav block, I suggest you read this how-to: http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/primer-auto-...

The theme boldy has the Navigation in a stack by default and if its not giving you a dropdown than you will need to go there to apply the custom template "header menu dropdown" which will give you dropdown menus.

Go to your dashboard and click on stacks.

In the stacks area click on the stack that says header nav

Click on the block that is in the stack, which will be showing you your page names in a list form.

Now click on custom templates from the menu that pops up, and select the one labelled "header drop down menu"

Save and click the approve version button that will now show up at the top right of the stacks window.

I had a crack at the method you posted, but nothing changed. I have a feeling its internal because when I select edit I cannot select the menu bar.

I've added some pictures to clear up things a bit.

Thanks for the replies so far.

What I'm asking is if you are logged in as 'admin' with full permissions everywhere, or if you are logged in as a user in the administrators group.

Have you set up c5 yourself?

Yep set it up myself.

Has this been resolved yet?

If not, would it be possible for me to log in to your site with full permissions and have a look?

If you want me to, you can send me more details in a PM.

Hey mate,

It's alright, I reverted back to the plain yoghurt theme and began using that as the theme. Learn a lot more than I would of with an "off the shelf theme".

Thanks for the thought though.

Great! Modifying a theme to suit your needs is pretty simple (if you know your html and css).
