Can a purchased theme be used on unlimited websites?

What does it mean to buy a theme? Is it restricted to only one website? Or instead, can you use that same theme for several different websites?

If you purchase only 1 license then it is strictly for one website. You can't use it in multiple website.

As Citytech says, with the small addendum that you can also use a purchased theme or addon for offline development for that site.

I bought a wonderful theme, but after trying it out for a few minutes, I realized that while it was uniquely fabulous, it was not going to offer enough variety for the particular website I had chosen it for. So, I want to move it to another website which will be more appropriate for that great theme.

How do I easily and quickly move a purchased theme, which is restricted to only one license, to another website?

I am eager to hear from you, and greatly appreciate your kind help.

If it is in live server then you need to release it first, the re-assign it to another project whenever you want. If you don't want to assign it right now, then leave it as unassigned.

I need help moving the purchased theme to another website.

Follow the below steps:
Go to My Account after login -> Click Transactions on the right sidebar -> Click on the Licenses -> A list of your purchased items will be listed there. -> Click on the details button -> A message will scroll down(Added on 04/18/12 at 3:09 AM. Assigned to project "Your Project Name") -> Scroll down to the Add-Ons and Themes section -> Click the Red colored "Release from Project" Button.
That's it.

THANKS!

Your directions were so clear, so exactly specific, so fabulous!

You are an excellent teacher.

Because of your good directions, it took only a few seconds to move the theme license from one website to another website. The theme is now licensed for the correct website!

Another obstacle:
I am trying to install my newly purchased theme on the new website without having to purchase the theme a second time. I am not being given an option of pulling the theme from my account at the Concrete5 website. When I try to install the theme, the only option I am given is to purchase the theme.

What can I do to install the purchased theme?

Thank you for your kind help.

I have released the purchased theme from the old website, but don't know how to get the theme connected to the new website. At the Concrete5 website, the theme is connected to the correct website. But at the Concrete5 Dashboard, I am unable to install the theme into the new website, which it is supposed to be connected to.

At the Concrete5 Dashboard, the only option I am given is to buy the theme again. I cannot discover the way to pull the purchased theme into the new website.

Please help. Thank you!
