Changes to theme not showing

I have tried to alter the background colour for the default 'Plain Yoghurt' theme and it does show the new colour in the 'Customise Theme' section. However, having saved the change and returned to the site it is plain white as before!
What am doing wrong?

Many thanks for the prompt reply, it's appreciated. Now for the embarrassing bit. Err... how do I clear the Concrete5 cache?

Hi Justin,
Hover your dashboard button, and at the bottom of the menu that pops up, click "systems and settings" from there look for the "Optimisation" heading and you will see the option to clear your cache there.

While you're in there, just turn off the basic cache while you're making changes to your content and then you can turn it back on when you're done. Also, turn off the caches in all your browsers as well because sometimes they will display old content as well and drive you crazy.
You just need to clear your Concrete5 cache and probably your browsers cache too.
