Free Themes

Hi from a new user,

I have installed Concrete5. I have tried installing any of the Free Themes, they install but I just get an empty structure, not a "full site" I maybe able to moddify.

How could I get the full template so that I could replace images and texts and so on?

I am really new, I have tried some time ago and when I have installed a free template I have obtained full generic website with files and internal pages, etc.

Any help?!

Thanks and happy weekend!

Not all themes (free or paid) have built-in starter content.

However, if you do a fresh install of Concrete, you can choose to use either a blank site or one with pre-installed content. Then, you can apply whatever theme you want and modify from there.

First "themes" are to general (What theme?).

If you want to use elemental - when you install Concrete5 you need to check "Sample Content" option.

Look at this screen shot and get inside the tutorial (or in c5 docs):
https://www.google.co.il/search?q=concrete5+install+example+content&...
"....Sample Content: Choose if you wish to have sample data on your website or an empty installation. As the message says, if you are a beginner to the use of Concrete5, it is best to choose the Sample Data option...."

(I dont think you can "undo"/do this after you install "empty" C5 without dev skills. You must start the install process again and "check "Sample Content").
