Pardon the author, he's quit a busy man and a nice gentleman (guru).
The orange thing is actually an image for the entire background on the top part of your website.

By removing that image you will loose the brownish area at your logo, banner and partially the bg for your menu nav. The image also has an outline. Can you be a little specific on how you want to go about?

Or you can download this imagehttp://highlandditch.com/concrete5.4.2.2/packages/theme_terrafirma2... (from your files) edit the orange part with your fav editor, and replace taht image by uploading (via) ftp to your theme files.

Make sure the file size and image ratio is exact or it will loose its screen sizing and distort your background.
