How to install a custom theme?

Hello
I try to install a custom theme, e.g.:https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/neat/...
So step1, go to shop, click on "Free" and checkout. But then, there is only an option for "Save for Later"? What? Why?
Ok, so I tried to install manually, just download the package and copied it to /application/themes/
But now concrete5 backend shows a new blank template without name or description. And when I activate I only have black Homepage without panel.
Problem now also: I cannot remove the "Blank Theme" I installed. Because now, when I click on remove I get error: cannot remove "Core Theme". But this is no "Core Theme"....

When you download something from the marketplace it's always going to be a 'package', so the folder you unzip after manually downloading it needs to go in your top level /packages folder. The /application directory is more for overrides, or manually installing themes that aren't in a package.
Ok, thank you, I was now also able to install from /index.php/dashboard/extend/install/ after adding package from shop.
