Including a block into your template

Hi all,
I've been searching the documentation section of this site for answers, can't find an answer to my problem.
Is there a way to include a block into my template? I allready included the autonav-menu into my template. I'm using Chad's ProNews and i want to include a block showing the latest news-items into the site-template.
Anyone knows how this works or where it is documented?
