Only front page accasible for guest, other pages need to login

Oke so I have this option I want to utilize but not sure how to.
I know there's an option in Concrete5 (url.com/index.php/dashboard/system/permissions/site/)
Where you can set the setting that users need to login BEFOR they can view the site. Now if I set this to members I get a ugly login screen. Can't I change this to be the home page? That they can view the homepage but for everyother page they need to login ? (and get some sort of notification if they do try to navigate to other pages)

In the dropdown/popup box on the page it self you have a permissions links. There is the option.
