RSS Feed Error - Can someone help?

Hi All,

My Blog's RSS feed was working fine. I just added a new blog, and now the RSS feed is giving me this message:

Permission Denied
This page list doesn't use the custom blog template, or you don't have permission to access this RSS feed

I have NO idea what to do. I used the Blog template, my blocks of copy are in alignment, I can't see anything unusual here that I have not done in the past. PLEASE, can someone here take a look and help me fix this?

have you recently enabled advanced permissions? are you using problog?
If you pm me a username and password I can try and have a quick look.

No, I don't know what advanced permissions are. Nor do I know what problog is. But it seems to be working now. See the reply after yours. Thanks so much to taking the time! I really appreciate it!

Your RSS feed on the Blog page itself works fine. You can access it via the icon at the foot of the post list.

The subscribe link on your homepage doesn't work, I suspect that's because it's hardcoded, and refers to an older version of the page_list block.

Hope that helps

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! You are absolutely right and I fixed the icon url on my home page. However, I could swear I checked that small icon at the foot of the blog pages last night, and it was giving me the same error message.

Today I logged into the site and looked at the site map. For some reason one of the blogs was duplicated as a subpage under another blog. I deleted that duplicate page. Do you think that had anything to do with it? It was a blog from September, and I dont know how it got duplicated. And the RSS feed had been working until I added my last blog.

Several months ago I had tried adding Adsense to the bottom of each of my blogs. After I did that, I discovered my RSS feed no longer worked, so I went back and deleted all the ads, then the RSS feed worked again. Jeesh!!

Is there some "secret" I don't know about? Why is the RSS feed so quarky?

I'm glad you got it working. I didn't even think about checking one of the other rss links xD
