Theme Automatically Updated? Site Broken.

Just logged into my site after a month or so of no edits being made to it. (No log-in's since April 8th)

It appears that everything that I had customized within the theme has reverted back to the defaults, or the way that it was when I first downloaded it. Almost like the theme (Boldy) was updated, but all on its own, as I have not updated one thing on the site (theme or add-on). Things that reverted back included my edits to the main .css styles, logo area, footer.php, header.php, as well as several of the files I had within the Boldy Folder where deleted from the server. Where did I go wrong?

Can anyone explain to me WHY this would have happened? Not even how to get things back, I'll figure that out. I'm just SO baffled why these changes would be made when I havent even logged in to make ANY change whatsoever.

Perhaps there is a setting I'm missing, or its set to update automatically?

ANY help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There was an update to Boldy in the past few weeks, I was working on the previous version of it. However, never made the update.

Has you ever heard of anything like this happening in the past? If I would have made the update, it would be resembling the layout of the new version as you mentioned.

Thanks for the reply.
