Add content window is broken!

Hi I've just installed C5 and everything seems to be working except when I add content the text editor doesn't load correctly, all the icons are overlapping and I can't see the buttons very well, although it does actually function its not very easy to use like this.
I know its something I've done wrong because the demo site works fine.
Any clues where to start looking?
