allowing a group rather then administrators to manage users

Hi,
Is there an option to give permissions to a a group of users so they can add/remove users and groups?
I set the "user permissions" under the "/dashboard/system/permissions/users/" still, the user from the group that supposed to be allowed, can not access it...

any one?
thanks,

Have you also allowed Dashboard access to the pages that they will need to access?

You will need to give them access to the top level Dashboard page, as well as the Members section. This can be done by going to the Full Sitemap, Expanding the Options, Checking the Show System Pages checkbox and expanding the Dashboard section.

If you have done these things what are they trying to access when they are stopped and what does it say when they are stopped?

thanks.
it works now.
i set the permissions at the sitemap manually for the dashboard and for its sub pages.

one thing looks strange to me:
now, a manager can add/edit/delete users. but, if i let this manager set user to a group, he can set the new user to the administrators group...not good...

i disabled the option to add a user to a group for now. any ideas for the above?

I'm glad that part is working for you.

If you go back to the User Permissions area and click on the Assign Groups to User you should be able to click the Details tab and only allow certain Groups to assign people to certain groups rather than All Groups.
