Block disappears when I log in

Hi all

I have a slight issue with the website I built which my client maintains.

When looking at the website without being logged in to edit, there is an additional block which contains an image which has lost it's reference. It is currently replaced with the text 'image not found'. When I log in this block disappears, which makes it pretty much impossible for me to try and remove it from the site altogether.

Has anyone else had any issues similar to this and if so, any ideas on how to remove it?

Thanks for the help in advance

Are you logging in as the Super Admin (username admin) or are you logging in as another user?

It's possible that the Version of the page that you are seeing when you are logged in is not the same as the Approved Version that you see when you are not logged in. To find out if this is true or not go to the Page Versions and see which version is Approved.

Firstly thank you for the response

Extra information, there are no user profiles on the site, only admin.

When I'm not logged in as an admin then you can see the additional block.

I looked at the version control and my site is on the latest version as far as I can see.

Did you look at the Page Version of the page that the block is not showing for in edit mode? That is where the Version needs to be checked.

Yes checked there also, it is on the very latest version which does not include the additional block

puzzled!

Is it possible that the block is on the page but there is no content in it so it's just a red dotted line? Could you provide a URL and some screenshots to show what is going on?

Can you take a screenshot of what this page looks like in Edit Mode? From what I can see in the Inspector of this page it doesn't look like this block is a built in C5 Image Block. Is it possible that this block is contained in a Stack or somewhere else in the theme?

This looks like the header columns are "Sitewide" which means you can probably edit them in Stacks in the Dashboard. If you go into the Stacks and find the Top Three Column Center see if that has the Image Not Found text in it and you should be able to remove it there.

Genius.

Managed to find the faulty stack which was showing an unwanted version and remove it.

The 'Image not found' text has now been removed.

Thanks so much for your help
