I am not familiar with CMS in fact this is the first time I have used one can someone please tell me how to use the blog in 5.7.4.2 how do I edit/write my own articles? Thanks!!!

If you are new to concrete5, I recommend watching this video -http://youtu.be/VB-R71zk06U . It is a brief overview of concrete5 and also includes a section on making blog entries.
After you watch that video, watch the other concrete5 5.7 videos. They will allow you to quickly get up to speed with basic use.
