Cannot Use .jpg Files

I have uploaded a .jpg file to my site, but in my File Manager it displays a missing image (like thishttp://thedailywtf.com/images/remy/noimage.jpg... ) for the preview file. I cannot use the uploaded image in my site.
.jpg is an allowed file on my site.

I am using version 5.7.5.1.
I have tried it with multiple JPG images, all are "corrupted". But when I download the JPG images, they are fine and are not corrupted.
No, it does not happen with other image types. PNGs are fine.

What version of concrete5 are you using?
Have you tried this with multiple JPG images with the same results?
Does the problem happen with other image types?
