Change to one page makes changes to multiple pages

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Concrete5, so please bear with me :)

I made 3 pages that are all very similar, but just simple details and a few graphics will be different. So, I started with one page and saved the content to the scrapbook, and used that for the other 2 pages.

Now, when I update something in a tab on ANY of the pages, the other pages update as well. Is there a way to stop this? Is it because I copied from the scrapbook?

Thank you :)

Are you using a 'global' scrapbook or 'global' areas?

Which C5 version are you using?

I'm using 5.4.2.2. I've attempted to update numerous times, and continuously get an error message.

And no, I'm not using the Global Scrapbook. I used the Admin's Scrapbook.

I'm also using Google Chrome, if this has any bearing.

Thanks,
Aliese

Okay, couple of options.

You really must try and update C5. If you can't update, can you do fresh install to the latest version?

Try creating a new scrapbook and see if has 'global' properties.

Sorry I'm only guessing, been a long time since I've used your version!

Thanks, Steve! I'm pretty new to using Concrete5 and could easily break something, so I'm stepping back from messing with it. :) We have a local web design company that helped us create the page, so I'll be relying on them to assist.
