Disabled user account... not visible in list of users?

Hello,

Our main web editor has lost access to our C5 install. She received the error that is attached. I logged in as myself as well as the super-admin and am unable to see her account in the list of users.

I tried to recreated her account and I received an error saying both her user name and email address are already in use.

Do any of you have an idea what might be going on here?

thanks

Take a look in the Users table of the database.

She is listed in the DB. If C5 doesn't recognize her, should I delete that record (which will certainly cause many pages to not show who edited or created them)? or is there a way to clean something up so that her account can again become visible in C5?

thanks

It looks like some how the field UlsActive under her database entry was changed to "0". Marking it as "1" made her account available in C5 again.

Thanks for the pointer.

No need to mess with the database.

By default, the list of users only shows active users. If you click on "advanced", then you can add the attribute "activated" and choose to show only users who are not activated. From there, you can click on the user to see the detail page, then click on "activate user".

Ultimately, I have chosen to remove her account and re-add it. Her account kept getting flagged as inactivated.

So, after adding her a new account it has become deactivated three additional times. what might cause (seemingly random) account deactivations?

thanks
