Email notifications can't be sent from Dashboard

I have tried configuring the SMTP through Gmail settings, Google Suite settings and even Amazon Web Services to use a secured SMTP server. But cannot get anything to work. Without email approval of user's the entire program is useless to me.

Any suggestions?

Check your C5 admin account is registered with a mail account on your site's domain - our hosting company has a rule that blocks emails sent from email addresses that aren't on the same domain as the site e.g. if you have mysite.com then your email must be sent by [mailbox]@mysite.com
