Error on Add Block

Hi,
My company is using v5.6 and recently upgraded our sites to use version 5.6.3.4 (latest stable for 5.6). When attempting to manually migrate content we ran into an error when trying to add a block to a page. It happened with any block type. We reverted to 5.6.3.3 and didn't see the issue.
My developer believes that the issue was an incorrect SQL query generated by PHP to check the permissions of the editor.
Has anyone else seen this issue? If so, is there a work-around. We have settled on 5.6.3.3 until we can resolve this.
