File Manager > Replace not updating PDF on my site

Hello everyone, when I go to the File Manager and replace a PDF file on my site it's not updating. If I download the file and view it, it's correct. However, when clicking the link on the live site, it is still the old file.

I don't have cache on at all. And I have also blocked caching of PDF files in the htaccess file.

Any ideas why it won't update?

Is the link pointing to the actual file on the file system? Or is it pointing to a download link? It should point to a download link, e.g. '/download_file/198/0'

If you click on File Manager / Right click on File / Properties and then the Versions tabblad, what do you see? Can you see if the the latest version is active / approved?

The bullet is checked and the row is green. There are previous versions listed there as well. I had already deleted those and it errors out when I try now.

Can you open the link in another browser or in an incognito window?

Same results no matter what. Unless, I download from File Manager and view on my PC.

I haven't come across this before. Can you clear the cache as well? It doesn't matter whether you have all caches disabled. I see in the code that when a file is approved, it stores stuff in 'cache/request'.

I already had multiple times. I ended up just modifying the name slightly, now it updates.
