File manager/view entries lists to show more than 10 results

Hi all.
I will talk first about the file manager, because i came accross the tutorials :

I edited the concrete.php file (with 100 or 250 for the result value), but it doesnt work as expected.
The result now display only 1 page in page navigation (as if all the items are listed on first page), but only 10 items are visible.
I can see the 100 hundred results with the Advanced search option.
So what could be wrong ?
And i would like to be able to do the same with the express entities entry list, is it possible ?

That tutorial applies to 5.7 and does not work in version 8.
There is an open issue for this on GitHub. I recommend giving the issue a thumbsup and leaving a comment.
