Pagetypes don't really exist on their own for install, each page type is part of a theme.

If you're just wanting to create a few ad-hoc areas to place content, perhaps try out the 'Add Layout' option -http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/using-concrete5/in-page-edit...

It's great if you've just got a couple of pages you need to split up, but if you need something more consistent (and you're not scared of a bit of dev), you'll need to look at creating your own theme, or customising a core theme:
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/customize-a-...

Once you've set up your 'custom' theme, adding new page types is really just a matter of copying and renaming a file, modifying it and inspecting your theme in the dashboard to get it to pick it up and install it.

Thanks for your quickly response!

I need the second option. Even the page types are embebed in the themes, I thought there will be available pagetypes pre-created
The link provided is very useful so I will study it!

Thanks a lot!

Hello tibellium,

You can also add an additional pagetype from the Dashboard.
Login to the Concrete5 Dashboard->Click the Dashboard button->Under pages & themes menu select Page Types->Then, click the Add a Page Type button.

A single page can be created too, which exists outside of the theme.
Login to the Concrete5 Dashboard->Click the Dashboard button->Under pages & themes menu select Single Pages

You can add the page from there.

Hope this helps with what you are trying to accomplish.
