Google Map block does not accept new location

Cannot edit location for google map
Tried to change the existing one on the sample site
Tried adding a new one
But it does not accept or lookup location
New 5.7 distribution
Error : You must select a valid location
But nothing shown in select box (except previously saved invalid location

Update :

After delete block - add block - try save loop 4 times, EVENTUALLY Google woke up.
I have a good internet connection here, so either the source of issue is slow-responding google, or some delay/time-out/fail connection code in Concrete5

Just posting here in case someone other new user of Concrete5 gets disillusioned ... as I almost did.

Just experienced the same thing... Maybe this is a Chrome issue as I received this error when editing my site in Chrome. I then tried to edit it in IE11 and encountered no problems and it worked as usual

I had the same issue the other day. Then after some time it just started working again (locations start showing in the dropdown list).

Maybe add this issue to bug tracker. I also had this problem in the past.
