How does Composer work?

Hi,

When I click "Composer Beta" in my Dashboard, it says "You have not setup any page types for Composer.".

How do I setup page types for Composer so I can use it? Actually, what does Composer do? I want to experiment with it.. Can someone explain to me what this feature does?

To use Composer first enable a page type to be used by going to Pages and Themes > Page types > Click the Composer button next to the page type you want to write content into within Composer.

Here you have the Composer settings, tick the 'Yes, include this page type in Composer' and any attributes you want to be able to set (for testing you might as well select all of them just to play!).

Click the button 'Save Composer Settings', then visit the main Composer Beta tab in the Dashboard.

Now you can wriote you content and set your attributes all using one form.

thanks both to created this topic and replied.

I just have a problem, in the composer (for a blog type), I can't see the Blog Content editor...

in fact, I just have the Basic Information, and Blog Content editor + Attributes & Content are missing.

this is due the the update i just made

somebody can help please?
