How to create custom pages?

How do I create custom pages that can be quickly added on the top bar?
The ones like Blog Entry, Blog, Portfolio etc...

I can duplicate them and select a template, but how I do make the actual template and set the base Nodes that are used?

Figured it out, I didn't see how when you add a Template to the Page Type there is a button to edit the default blocks.
