insert link to page

Hi i am running latest version C5 5.6.02.
When i click insert link to page, the sitemap comes up ok with all my pages however when i click a page nothing happens. It doesn't add the link.
i have 5 sites - it is happening it 2 of them..
i'm not sure what is different with those 2 sites.
any ideas where to start looking ?

Sometimes wrong scripts generates html that give problems or are you using some kind of plugin or theme specific javascript that interfere with C5.
My suggestion is to activate the javascript console of your browser and check if while you do that (insert link) some error accours in some javascript function.
If it's so, you'd better to check it and find out how it interferes with C5.
