Login page blank - 500 error

Our site is displaying pages OK but the /login URL is blank and returning a 500 error.
The error is: Aborted connection 2992 to db: '<db-name>' user: '<username>' host: '<host>t' (Got an error reading communication packets)
Nothing in the PHP logs or the logs table in Concrete. Version (from conrete.php file) is 8.0.2. Running in IIS.
Tried changing the PHP version to 7.2 but no change.
The only thing that was changed was a new page of content was added. Following publishing the login URL started throwing the error. The page itself dispays ok though:https://www.wheatleysolutions.co.uk/about-us/news/water-market-perfo...
