Report Permissions

Permalink 1 user found helpful
I am quite new to Concrete5 and was hoping someone could help me out. I have setup a submission form where someone can submit a CV to my client.
I've switched off all editing permissions for the client, but would like to allow the client to follow the link, that is sent via e-mail once a submission has been made, to submission reports.
How do I set this permission?
Any help would be much appreciated!

If you are using the basic permission system, this is really easy to setup.

You need to have your client in a user group (lets call it 'Report Viewer').

The group 'Report Viewer' now needs to have 'View' permissions on 'Dashboard' and on 'Form Results'.

To set the permissions you (logged in as superadmin) can browse to /index.php/dashboard/sitemap/full/, click on 'Options' (top right) and select 'Show System Pages'. Click on 'Dashboard' and 'Set Permissions'. Give the group 'Report Viewer' view permissions.

Now do the same for the page 'Form Results', found under Dashboard->Reports in the sitemap.

The above will work if you are using the built in Form block and the user in group Report Viewer is logged in.

I have attached screenshots for you.
