RSS Displayer Stopped Working

We have been using RSS Displayer on our site for 9 months without any issues. Yesterday it stopped working for 2 different feeds that are on the site. These two feeds come from completely different sources. We get the error message "Oops, it looks like you've entered an invalid feed address!" for both of them even though nothing has changed with either address. We tried adding the RSS Displayer block on a completely different website on a different server and the same thing happened.
What would have changed in a day to make these feeds stop working? Has anyone had any experience with this before?

I've just had this happen to me when I downloaded a site to run on my local server (XAMPP) and suddenly the feeds don;t work. However, I have another feed on the same site which uses zrssfeed and that still works.
Having siad that, RSS Displayer is only complaining when I use a feed where the URL ends in /feed/. When use the URL for a feed which ends in rss.xml then those work fine!
Still trying to find an answer... will post again when I do!
