Theme change error - C5.7.5.9

I have uploaded my modified theme in applications/themes
Gone to C5 in edit mode, hit the Themes button then get this:
syntax error, unexpected 'use' (T_USE), expecting \\ (T_NS_SEPARATOR) or ';' or '{'
Any ideas please?
What file is it referring to?
