Unable to change dashboard language

Hi, i've build a Concrete5 site for a client on my own server and moved it to theirs today. I copied all the folders and files, imported the database and edited the site.php. Everything runs fine, i can edit and change whatever i want, but the dasboard language can't be changed. On my own server i just pick the language in the system settings, and it changes instantly, on this new server absolutely nothing seems to happen. I get the 'Interface settings saved' message, but it's still in english. Can somebody help me out on this one?
Ok, I found where problem was.
When I was moving whole cms to new server there was already created folder '.wd' - with dot on the beginning. That created the problem which appeard as unability to change the dashboeard language.
When I changed the main folder name to something without dot (in my case 'httpdocs') all had gone back to normal.
