Unable to Delete Scrapbook

Permalink 2 users found helpful
I added some blocks to the Global Scrapbook, but for some reason my "Header" and "Header Nav" now appear as Scrapbooks not content within the Scrapbook itself.

I am able to edit and delete other Scrapbooks, but every time I remove these two additional scrapbooks they re-appear on the next page load.

Can anyone help? how do I delete these.

Can anyone point out where I can find the Scrapbooks in the DB I would like to delete these extra Scrapbooks, and can not do this from the admin area

Something happened on my site - I can no longer delete scrapbooks I created and I am unable to give items in a scrapbook a name - only the default number.

Can anyone help with that?

In the DB there is a table called Blocks you can edit the name of a global block in there,

Currently that's how I am doing it I think its the latest update that seems to do something new with Scrapbooks, and that's the reason there are a few issues with them at the moment.

I have not looked into this further though. I keep meaning to, so if I work anything out I'll keep you posted.

Thanks. I will see what I can do with the Database/Blocks. I really liked Concrete5 when I started working with it, but I am beginning to think the support is lacking.

If you are all using 5.4.2, I think there is a naming issue with Scrapbooks. I've found that if I have one with a space, it won't accept changes. Try renaming the scrapbook itself to something without spaces then do your changes and rename it back afterwards. That worked for me - would be nice to get this one squashed fairly quickly.

Okay - Thank you. Solved that problem. I simply used _ Underscores.

That worked.
Take out the spaces and I could delete whole scrapbooks.

Nice tip to know while the work out this bug in the 5.4.2

Just to follow up, looks like this bug persists in 5.4.2.1; however, renaming the scrapbook to include underscores allows you to delete them.

Has a bug report been filed for this yet?
