Unable to upload large files to the file manager

Whenever I attempt to upload a file that's more than 1 MB it keeps stuck at a certain point, doesn't display any error message.
I've already set the php.ini as
memory_limit = 256M
upload_max_filesize = 128M
post_max_size = 128M
Also the Files allowed has mp3 which I specifically attempted to upload.
The attached screen shot shows that the uploads get stuck at a certain point.
The environment info:
I wonder if there's anything else that I may have skipped?

Have you tried to upgrade to 8.5.1 ?
The progress bar is not showing red like it normally does when it fails.

I have not tried to upgrade to 8.5.1. My current Concrete5 version is 8.4.5. The problem is there is no error message. When adding / uploading single file to file manager, if executing time is over 30 seconds upload stucks but without any error message. This happens even when file size is under 15 Mb
I could not resolve this issue so resorted to upload large sized files to the incoming directory on the server and then pull the file into the File Manager.

Thank you for ur replay. But in my case I need to upload files through the file manager. The problem seems to be max_execution_time. For my serve it is 300 second, but upload stuck each time after 30 seconds.
Maybe check permissions on the Files directory, 30 seconds should be long enough for file uploads.
Files directory permissions is 775 and i have tested with 777 but still, if upload taking time is over 30 seconds it stucks.
