Upload button not in File Manager

Last week I did not have the Browse, Upload and Multiple Upload buttons on the file manager. I followed some of the old advice on here and added the file types allowed and my buttons came back, however, none of my other users have them.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

It may be a silly question but have you tried clearing the concrete5 cache after you added the file-types?

I cleared the cache before I added the file types but can try that again. The weird thing is that when I log in as them, I see the buttons but they do not. I thought it might be an IE issue but it occurs for them in any browser.

Well, at least that tells you that it is something from their end and not concrete5. Ask them to clear their local cache and maybe even restart their computer.

If you can see the buttons when logged in as either accounts, then you can rest assured that everything is working correctly...

...and Internet Explorer? Really?... I would advise them to download Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari or any other browser in the world but they should really just stop using IE.

If they are using an older version of IE, then you may want to install the 'Browser Update Notification' add-on http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/scala-it-browser-update... ... it's the gentle way to let people know its time to update and move on to better things. :)
