Seriously, can this be documented a little more clearly? okhayat links to a long and rambling thread with nothing marked green for "best answer."

I have installed TWO attributes (okhayat only mentions one, but further up in the thread, someone else mentioned another one; however, this person didn't upload a nice little PNG like okhayat did to show which options should be checked, so I just checked the same ones okhayat checked)

Look at my screen shot. The user clearly has both attributes but there is no link at the left.

EDIT: someone helped me out in pointing out that the "Send message" link only shows up if you're looking at another member's profile, so it works... if that thread is the only place it's documented, though, it should be documented better...

In order to send private messages you have to:

1. Activate the "Public profiles" option in the /dashboard/system/registration/profiles dashboard page

2. This will create the pages /members/profile and /members/directory

3. When user A visit the profile of user B, A is presented a "Connect" button that allows him to send a PM to B

Please remark that currently the links added to the private messages are wrong (https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/pull/5232... is a fix for this problem)
