If you have a long list of pages you need to add to a site, this is the time saving add-on for you.
You might for example have a complete sitemap worked out for your site and want to create all the pages first before adding content. With this add-on you can simply cut and paste your list of pages in, and in seconds all your pages are created.
Once installed, 'Add Multiple Pages' can be found within the Sitemap section of the Dashboard.
Adding new pages in bulk is as simple as:
- Picking your page type (if you have more than just the standard 'Page' page type)
- Picking where in your sitemap you want to create new pages
- Picking the page template you want the pages to use
- Entering in a list of page names
- Hitting the Create Pages button
Optionally you can also create nested pages by indenting pages with dashes.
Page Type defaults are also made available in the process, so you can check options like 'Exclude From Nav' for newly created pages.
