Link back using URL variable to open set Tab on accordion menu?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
HI team

I have used your addon to create a accordion menu with 3 sub sections, which all work fine and even works in page defaults (bonus)

The issue I am having it I need to link back to the page with specific section of the menu open. I have been looking through the documentation and think using the cookie options this should be possible?

This code below should set the active tab? but where do I put it? In the header of the page? Or in the .js file?

//getter
      var active = $( ".selector" ).accordion( "option", "active" );
      //setter
      $( ".selector" ).accordion( "option", "active", 2 );

I think this is possible? Also I have accordion menu within the menu, So I actually need to set which child is open with this menu , But 1 at a Time, If I can find where and how the active tab is set i should be able to code in variables to set which one is open?

Thanks for any help Or pointing in the right direction

Carl

Did you ever figure out an answer to this? I would like to do the same (I think). I want to be able to link to a page with a five section accordion block and open a specific panel. Can that be done?
