Changing default sorting

Permalink Browser Info Environment
By default, Awesome table content gets sorted alphabetically by the first column from left.

How can I change the default to second column from left?

Can I just change something from advancedtable.js? (what exactly, I don't know javascript at all...)

Hi,

Thanks for your response...

Another issue is that sorting by price is not working perfectly. My table contains prices ranging from 3,50 to 11,50 €. Otherwise the price sorting works well but it lists 11,50 as the lowest price and not the highest. (11,50 is the only double digit price)

The table is here:http://www.ravintolametro.fi/oluet/...

Hi Antti

Regarding your first query about the column by default it sorts the table according to the first column. However, it does sort the other columns if you manually click on it. We do offer paid customisation if you want to have the control on which column does the sorting happening initially. I'm guessing it would take 0.50 hours to complete @ $90/hr. Just let me know if you want to proceed and send me your email where I can send the invoice to.

Regarding sorting the prices, I'm guessing that's because of the currency you are using. I'll take a look at that and get back to you.
