Feature request - Mark item as sold

Hi,
Great add-on! I have a couple of feature requests which may or may not be doable:
1. A "marked item as sold" function. Use-case is that I'm building a site that sells boats in catalogue mode. However, even after they've sold a boat, they want it to remain in the product list with a "SOLD" banner (similar in look to the discount banner on the thumbnail image). So I wonder if it's possible to consider such functionality in a future release?
2. A "Featured" function. Similar to the above (a banner / stap line across the image stating "Featured" but is at the top of the product list above regular products.
Not so much a feature request - rather it's help that I need with this one - how can I populate the "Additional Information" tab for a given product? I'm probably missing something very obvious but would appreciate a pointer.

you can set the quantity to 0. Then the item is displayed as sold.
To add new items you need to extend the express object "Product" with the required attributes.
