Potential Client needs an e-commerce solution with digital download capabilities

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have a potential opportunity with a company that sells documents and instructional videos. From what I know of the system, I see no way to include a download link after the sale. Preferably, it would be both in the receipt as well as within their account that they could log into and download. Is this possible?

Hello barkingtuna,

thank you for contacting me.

Yes. It is possible but you need to develop custom code. See more in this previous ticket:
https://bitbucket.org/fabianbitter/bitter_shop_system/issues/25/just...

If you need help with the project integration / developing of custom code i can assist you with your project. This month i have some free capacities. Tell me your requirements and we can make a fix price. If you want to do it by your own the documentation will help you.

Fabian,

Here is the current website...http://www.skilcheck.com/

The site is a mess and quite old. As you will see, there are documents and webinars that are downloadable after purchase. She appears to use a solution calledhttp://www.payloadz.com .

I would like to set it up similar to how I mentioned in the original ticket; links sent within receipt and available within their account when logged in. Even better... if it could redirect to the download links upon payment completion, that would be smoothest for the customer.

This is a complete overhaul of an old website, so give me an all-in price and I'll see what I can do to win the account.

Thanks,

James Appleton (BarkingTuna)

I wrote you a personal message with an offer. By the way, I haven't forgotten your support request on BitBucket! The change is already implemented locally in my development environment. I'll test it again tomorrow and then upload an update and notify you via BitBucket.
