Permissions

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have a site that uses advance permissions. The site is only accessible to registered users.

I have a calendar. I would like the calendar to be visible by all registered users.

I have set the permissions on the Main Calendar page to be visible to all registered users.
I have also set the sub page permission to inherit the permissions of this page.

When registered users log in, they are not able to see the calendar events.

Not sure what I'm missing. Please help.

And thanks in advance.

OK I've figured it out.

From the Dashboard, select 'Page Types' from 'Pages and Themes'.

From there, select the Defaults button for the 'Event' page. This will bring you to a preview of that page type. While viewing the page, Edit the page permissions and save.

Do the same for the Calendar page.

This will ensure that the calendar and all events share permissions.
