Due to a change in career, I now don't have time to develop this add-on. Please use Location Map instead - this add-on is well supported.
This addon has being developed using Google map functionality. It allows the user search for stores and get directions.
Please note due to Google making it a requirement on any new install you have to generate a Google API key. You can generate your key directly from Google https://console.developers.google.com/apis/.
Enable Google Maps JavaScript API and Google Maps Geocoding API
The features include:
- Automatically pin points the address using Google geocoding.
- Enables the user to search via town name, Zip code anywhere in the world.
- Can select whether you want the distance in Miles / kilometers
- Shows google Map and a side bar with store information.
- Shows a home marker to help show the distance.
- User can specify the distance Radius.
- Details show Store Name, Address, Phone, Fax, URL and Email
- Bulk import / export using CSV
- Automated job to geocode addresses
- Block Template to only show results in the map
- Map markers can load on page load
