Multiple blocks on the same page, eliminating duplicates

Hi there, If I wanted to add two testimonial blocks on the same page (which I would probably build right into theme), is there any way I can eliminate the possibility of having two of the same testimonials randomly show together? Thanks in advance!

How to change Canonial URL for Testimonials Single Page

How do I go about changing the canonical URL for the testimonials single page? It isn't editable in the page path since it's a single page.
