Cannot find Designer Content under Dashboard
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I admit I'm pretty new to Concrete 5, and I did read the important documentation on this particular - the Designer Content Add On. It says you need to enable permissions on the site's /blocks/ folder, and I have no clue how to do that. It also suggests creating blocks locally?! I didn't realize you can do that in Concretes CMS. Can anyone help me get started using this add on? Thanks!

You'll get an error message in the dashboard page if the addon is unable to write to the /blocks directory, so if that happens then come back here and let me know. Otherwise it should "just work".
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that Designer Content requires that you understand HTML and CSS markup in order to be effective. Its purpose is to provide the back-end adding/editing functionality for your front-end markup... so if you don't have front-end markup it's not going to do much for you. The reason I mention this is because if you do have front-end markup, it makes the addon very intuitive for most people... but if you don't already have markup that you're trying to make editable, then it won't make much sense at first glance.
Good luck!
