How to change 'to' for new post?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,

When a post is made (anonymous or logged in) the mail is sent to the postee and to a certain email address with the note '... has posted to a discussion you're monitoring' which comes from the discussion/mail/discussion_track.php file.

But how is the 'to' determined? I cannot set in the settings (as it is not the moderator email) and changing the owner of the forum parent page also does not change the email to address.

So my question is, how to change the 'to' of new posts?

You help would be very welcome, I cannot find it.

Kind regards,

Dirk

Hi Dirk,
You'll want to check out models/discussion_track.php. The mail is sent in the 'notify' function in there. Notify gets called from 'discussionHasChanged'. The actual email address that it gets sent to is the email address associated with any account that is tracking the discussion.

Thanks!

That works.

Kind regards,
