Add weight as a variable to advanced cart total shiping option

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Would it be possible to add the weight as a variable to the advanced cart total option.
I have a client that will charge shipping on the cart total weight with a minimum charge. The required code would be like this I think and utilise the total cart weight.
if (this.weight <= 90) {return 63;} else {return ((this.weight*0.5) + 18);}

Thanks

Colin

Hi Colin,

Yes this should be possible. You can use this.weight to get the total weight of the cart so that code you have written should work.

Hope this helps.

Is there a way to restrict the purchase quantity to 1?

Hi

All I can think of is fill up the Qty option in the block interface with 1. Then it will show you a dropdown qty of 1. Other than that it needs to be customised and we can offer paid customisations for you. Just let me know so I can give you a quote.
