Associated Page link not working.

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Selecting an associated page, saving and clicking on the product image does not link to the page. It simply ads a hash to the url and goes to the top of the product page. It is as if the javascript is not issuing a preventDefault() and the link is not being executed. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

I have the same problem. Can it be solved? One of my clients will use it for extra information about products.

With kind regards,

Hi Jz,

The URL ishttp://www.amenk.nl/index.php/videokasten/...
It concerns the product with the name Silence Scope 2. I attach an image where you can see that the product Silence Scope 2 is associayed with the page Silence Scope 2 which is a child of the categorie Videokasten.

With kind regards,

Hi

Thanks for the details. May I know the version of your eCommerce Express? In the latest version there should be View Page link at the bottom of each item like thishttp://screencast.com/t/Ujr0qAiw9C...

Hi JZ,

I solved the problem myself. It was due to an css change that the "a" tag was white so the text wasn't visible. Changing the color of the a tag solved the problem.
Thanks for the support.

Thanks JZ, Yes that link does work as expected. It is when the product image is clicked that the issue occurs.

I would be nice to be able to click the image and go to the detail page but its not essential. Is it easy to change?

Hi

Clicking the image is reserved for the lightbox popup which is why we opted to use a link instead. Originally it was clicking the image that triggers the redirection but it was problematic due to the lightbox function. However we do offer paid customisation just let me know so I can give you a quotation.
