Thanks for your question. The only problem with the wysiwyg editor is that it takes up a lot of space on the screen which could interfere with the editing experience. There are also compatibility issues with Internet explorer when adding HTML code within the description.

I'll look at a couple options and get back to you.

Yes it is still in the pipeline. We just preempted some major improvements on this add-on and another one this coming next release and we hope to add this feature in it.
